Artist's Comments

It's done. Finally.

This piece is based on the epic scene in Phantasy Star IV, when Rune Walsh shows off his magical abilities to blow up a rock, which is covering a cave entrance.

I'll never forget his arrogant comment, "No sweat, this is a cinch!" Much to the surprise of Chaz and Hahn.

No room for Alys in this one. ;)

All artwork by me, but Phantasy Star belongs to SEGA, inc.

I concur. I loved PS I and PS IV in particular; they definitely had a lasting impact on me, as well.

Oh, absolutely. PS I is without a doubt one of the hardest games I've played; I spent years on it. Years. :P

The most difficult in the series -- for me, anyway -- is PS II.

2 i didnt mind but it still was hard, i love the intro music. 3 i didnt really like it just didnt feel like ps game.

I couldn't agree more! PSIII is definitely a departure from the series... what was it my friend Agent Yomiko called it? Phantasy Star with moustaches! :D
